Volunteer to serve
Serve in Worship
When we can resume worship in the building... Each week it takes dozens of God's people working together to make worship happen. You can be part of the ministry of worship as an usher, greeter, reader, or communion server, just to name a few. Click here to learn more about how you can help. |
Volunteer with the Holy Trinity Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry is a ministry to address hunger in our neighborhoods. We need help with serving our clients, and we need donations of food and supplies. Click here for more information on how you can help. |
Volunteer with Family Promise
Holy Trinity hosts up to three families in transition from homelessness. We host four times each year for one week at a time. We will provide overnight accommodations here at the church. We will need volunteers serving in various ways to help. Click here for more information on how you can help. |
Volunteer to Fill "A Helping Hand" Food Boxes
"A Helping Hand" is a local initiative to fill special boxes with non-perishable food and personal hygiene items so that people in need can access them easily and anytime. Two “Helping Hand” boxes are located at each end of our south parking lot. Church School kids and families have been leading the effort to keep them filled with help from the HTLC Food Pantry. If you want to help feed and supply people who are in need, you can sign-up to sponsor a box for a week anytime it fits your schedule. Click here for a shopping list. Simply pick up those items when you next go to the store, and then stop by and fill the box. That is all there is to it. |
Donate to FreeStore
FreeStore provides household items and furniture free of charge to women who are referred by Iowa domestic violence services. Holy Trinity partners with this mission as a small group. Most of the clients are woman who have left abusive situations, and most of the locations are in the Des Moines metro area. Click here to learn more. Holy Trinity organizes donation drives twice a year. |
