Electronic Giving
Holy Trinity uses an online system called Realm to help with electronic giving. Creating a Realm account gives you control over your giving. You may set up recurring gifts, view your giving history, make changes at any time and download your tax statements.

How Do I Give My Gifts for the Capital Campaign?
  • Place checks or cash in the capital campaign offering envelopes mailed to you (or the green and white envelopes in the church pews).
  • The church will not automatically pull your capital campaign pledges. 
  • If you already give electronically, log into Realm at onrealm.org/holytrinityankeny. On the left menu bar, select “Giving.” On the main screen, select “Scheduled.” Click the three dots next to your automatic gift and pick “Edit Gift.” Click the gray “+ Another Fund” and type in or scroll for Capital Campaign Designated Account. Follow the instructions to add your recurring gift for the capital campaign.
  • Set up automatic, electronic giving with Realm. Please click here to set up a one-time gift or multiple, recurring gifts specifically for the Capital Campaign Fund. 
  • If stock or mutual fund gifts are an option for you, contact Tammy Walls in the church office. 
Did You Know We Have a Realm App?
​You can access Realm on your mobile device by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play. Search for Realm Connect by ACS Technologies Group. Once you've downloaded the app, you can log in with your username and password.
​The Realm app contains Holy Trinity's Church Directory and calendar. You can update your profile, register for events, give your offering and view your giving history on the Realm app.
What Are the Options for My Offering?
There are many ways to give:
Multiply Your Giving with Non-Cash Gifts​
Thrivent "Choice Dollars"
If you are a member of Thrivent, you may be able to direct gifts to Holy Trinity. Click here to learn more about Thrivent's "Choice Dollars."
​Employer Grants & Payroll Matching Programs
Contact your employer to discover if they offer grants to qualifying 501(c)3 organizations or payroll matching programs for your offerings. This is a simple way to increase your giving to Holy Trinity.
IRA Charitable Distributions
Consider a distribution directly from your IRA to Holy Trinity. This amount could be counted toward the IRA’s annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Consult with your financial and/or tax advisor to analyze your particular situation and confirm tax benefits.
Stocks and Mutual Funds
Donate appreciated stocks and mutual funds to Holy Trinity. This strategy allows you to maximize your giving and could be counted toward an annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). Consult with your financial and/or tax advisor to analyze your particular situation and confirm tax benefits.
Estate Planning
Designate Holy Trinity to receive all or a portion of your estate after your lifetime. This type of giving may be accomplished through:
  • Bequests: You can name Holy Trinity in your will or revocable living trust as a beneficiary, and your estate will receive an income tax deduction for the value of your bequest. A bequest written in a will or revocable living trust can be made for either a percentage or an amount. Consult with an estate attorney for donor advantages with an estate.
  • Life Insurance: You can simply name Holy Trinity as beneficiary of part or all of your life insurance policy. You can also choose to make Holy Trinity the owner of a life insurance policy that is no longer needed. When Holy Trinity is made owner, you may receive a tax deduction for the amount of premiums you continue paying each year. If the policy is whole life, you may receive an immediate tax deduction for the cash value amount. Consult with your financial and/or tax advisor to analyze your particular situation and confirm tax benefits.
  • Retirement Accounts: You can name Holy Trinity as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other qualified retirement plans. Any amounts remaining in your plan, free of income and estate tax, will transfer to Holy Trinity. Consult with your financial and/or tax advisor to analyze your particular situation and confirm tax benefits.

How Do I Set Up Electronic Gifts? 
If you want to make a one-time gift, click here.
Instructions:
  1. Log into your Realm account at onrealm.org/holytrinityankeny
  2. Click "Giving" on the left menu bar.
  3. Click the blue button: "+Give.” 
  4. Enter in a one-time gift or set up multiple, recurring gifts with an end date of your choosing. Or leave the end date blank for continuous giving.
  5. Add payment method.
  6. There is an option to add a pledge with your scheduled gift.
  7. Once the gift is set up you can access or edit it under the white button "Scheduled." Click the … dots by your gift to edit it.
How Do I Edit a Gift in Progress?
  1. Log into your Realm account at onrealm.org/holytrinityankeny
  2. Click "Giving" on the left menu bar.
  3. There are two white boxes, one "Giving" and one "Scheduled." Click "Scheduled."
  4. Click the … dots next to your gift to edit gift details.
  5. Leave the end date blank to give continuously.
  6. Select "Continue."
  7. Under payment method, pick current or add new by selecting the dropdown arrow on the side.
  8. Click the "Give" button to finish.
How Do I Access My Giving Statement?
You may download and print your giving statements via your Realm account. Follow these steps:
  1. Log into your Realm account at onrealm.org/holytrinityankeny
  2. There may be a blue bar on the right side "Contribution Statement." Click this for your year-end report.

​If there is no button or you want a custom statement, follow these steps:
  1. Click "Giving" on the left menu bar.
  2. Click the grey "Year to Date" button. Use the pull-down menu to select "Last Year."
  3. Click the blue "Filter" button
  4. Click the grey print icon
  5. Click the blue "Print" button​
How Do I Pledge My Giving for the Year?
  1. Click here for a direct link and follow the prompts.
    Or, log into your Realm account at onrealm.org/holytrinityankeny
  2. Click "Giving" on the left menu bar.
  3. Click the grey button "+Pledge."
  4. Enter your planned offering for the General Fund (envelope offering) for January to December.
  5. Click “January 2024” under the start date. 
  6. Keep in mind the pledge is your intended offering total for the year and will not auto pull your gift. Once the annual pledge is set up, the "+Pledge" option is no longer visible.
  7. Now that you've pledged your giving, you can set up electronic gifts. Click here for instructions.
If you prefer not to submit an electronic commitment, you can click here to download a form to print. Fill it out and return it to the church.
How Do I Add or Delete a Payment Method?
  1. Log into your Realm account at onrealm.org/holytrinityankeny
  2. Click "Giving" on the left menu bar.
  3. In the righthand box, select "Manage Payment Methods."
  4. You can add or delete payment methods.
How Do I Give Electronically if I Don't Have a Realm Account?
There are two options if you do not have a Realm account:
  • "Text to Give" (one-time) Simply send a text to 73256. In the message, type the letters "HTLC" and the dollar amount you want to give
  • "Quick Give" for one-time gifts. Click here.
Keep in mind that "Quick Give" offerings will not be recorded on your giving statement, unless you have a Realm account.
