Add me to the church directory

Our current directory is out of date and doesn’t include our new members. Folks have moved and changed emails, addresses and phone numbers. You can see how this can cause confusion. We are using Realm's online system so we can keep the directory up to date.
 
As members of a faith community, we want to be able to communicate with each other and stay informed about what’s happening at Holy Trinity. Realm allows you to update your information online and make changes as needed so our directory is always up to date. You can even upload your own photo -- there's no need for a professional photo session!

​Did You Know We Have a Realm App?
​You can access Realm on your mobile device by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play. Search for Realm Connect by ACS Technologies Group. Once you've downloaded the app, you can log in with your username and password.
​The Realm app contains Holy Trinity's Church Directory and calendar. You can update your profile, register for events, give your offering and view your giving history on the Realm app.
Instructions: If You Already Have a Realm Account
If you already have a Realm account, we ask that you update your privacy settings so that you can be included in Holy Trinity's Church Directory.
​Follow these steps:
  1. Sign in to your Realm account at www.onrealm.org/HolyTrinityAnkeny 
  2. In the top right-hand corner of your screen, you should see your first name next to a down arrow. Click on the down arrow to find a list of options.
In the dropdown menu, select “My Profile.”
  • ​Click on the circle image to upload a profile picture. Now your photo will be in the Church Directory!
  • On the righthand side you will see the word "Family." Click "+Family" to add family members.
  • Click on the box “Edit Profile.” In the "Contact Information" area you can add or update your address, phone number, and email so Holy Trinity can communicate with you. Select "save" at the top.
  • Click on the box "Edit Profile." In the “Personal Information" area can add any details or designations you want such as: marital status, gender identification, and any allergies that may impact your ability to participate in Holy Trinity activities. Select "save."
In the dropdown menu, select “Manage Privacy" so you are included in the church directory.
  • If you want to be included in Holy Trinity’s Church Directory, be sure your setting is “ Anyone in the Church.”  ​
  • Select "save" at the bottom of the screen.
In the dropdown menu, select “Notification Settings.” 
  • Click the blue pen icon to select "Receive via your preferred email address." Click "Done" ​
Your Realm account is set up and you are in the Church Directory! Now What?
Congratulations! You've created an account in Realm and you'll be included in Holy Trinity's Church Directory. If you're ready to take the next step, click the button below for instructions on how to see the church's calendar, register for events and groups, and receive information.
Instructions: If You Don't Have a Realm Account
If you don’t have a Realm account, follow these three simple steps: 
  1. Visit www.onrealm.org/HolyTrinityAnkeny and click on the blue “Sign Up” button. 
  2. Fill out your contact information. 
  3. Wait to receive an email and follow the instructions (this make take up to 72 hours).

If you do not have an email address, contact the church office at 515-964-4348. We will help you join the Church Directory.​
Privacy
Realm is safe, private, and secure. Your privacy is one of our greatest concerns. Realm is only made up of approved members and regular attenders in our church. It’s not like a social network that’s open to everyone. This is the reason why you must request an account  – so that Holy Trinity and members can openly share events and information without intrusion. Your profile will NOT be viewable outside of Realm. Realm keeps your data safe and gives you control over what information you share and who can see it.  

What About Children & Privacy?
By default, children’s photos & profile information are hidden from the congregation. However, teachers and group leaders will be able to see a child’s photo but not necessarily their profile information — that privacy setting is up to you to change. Once a child becomes an adult, their photo and contact information will be viewable by the congregation (unless they edit their privacy settings to remain hidden).
