mission trip Puerto Rico
Why Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico was hit hard by Hurricane Irma.
We wanted the opportunity to both invite more people to experience a week of mission and walk along side, and help, the people rebuilding their communities even now. In Puerto Rico we will be working with both relief agencies and children’s programs and ministries. |
Do I need to speak Spanish?
Nope. Some knowledge of the language couldn’t hurt, but you’ll be fine.
How do we get there?
There will be a flight organized for students traveling alone. Chaperones will be on that flight. Families traveling together may make their own flight arrangements or may choose to travel with the group.
As of this moment, the cost breaks down like this:
More information about that as we get closer to July.
- Base Price: $450
- Airfare: TBA
- Van rental in Puerto Rico: TBA

Will there be fundraising?
Yes, we will be doing fundraising to lower the costs of the trip for high school students primarily. If funds exist, college students may apply for them as well as adults. As of this moment, we’re asking all adults to pay their own way.
Why July?
We partner with a company called Youthworks that coordinates all of our service projects, meals and accommodations while on the trip. They offer trips only during the summer months.
