Advocacy team

The Advocacy Group’s mission is to share God’s love by living out our baptismal identity to strive for justice and peace in the world.  
The group will focus on the ELCA Advocacy Priorities and other issues that arise.
Advocacy priorities include the following:

• Migration
• Healthcare
• Environment and caring for all creation
• Affordable housing/homelessness
• Criminal justice reform
• Child nutrition programs
• Gender justice
• Peacebuilding and human rights

The group meets about once a month and will attend community events as advocacy needs dictate.
